Biography

Spitz is an italian artist known to be the comics artist, even though comic-subjects only play as a background to this artworks. Since a young age, Spitz has always been a reader of Mickey Mouse, Popeye, Linus and Superman. He considers these comic books true and authentic means of communication as well as a good narrative of life, which are told in a humorous manner. His passion is to collect old magazines and to extrapolate pages that he can use in his works, on top of these, there is always a painted icon expressed in different shapes and colors. His art is a mixture of past and present of comedy and reflection on the simple every day life. His works are exhibited in various public and private locations all over the world. He likes his works to be a source of joy and inspiration for collectors and art lovers.
