Giampiero Malgioglio
Biography
Giampiero Malgioglio, born in Rome in 1967, is an artist who began his career inspired by the Roman atmosphere and supported by his painter aunt, Rita Zizzo. He studied under notable Roman artists and transitioned from figurative painting to focusing on material masses and color harmony, influenced by Emilio Vedova and the technique of chemical combustion. Malgioglio is known for his unique technique of creating paintings with canvas extroflections, where the images protrude from the canvas. He has participated in numerous exhibitions, both solo and group, across Italy, Venezuela, and Switzerland. His work continues to evolve, and he lives and works between Rome and Terni.
